In 2000, repairs were made to Center Park. This work included removing and replacing brick pavement, repairing and resetting the granite base at the flagpole, replacing damaged sections of concrete sidewalk, constructing a seat wall and installing plant beds. As part of the Town's Millennium celebration, the Millennium Committee sponsored a "Buy a Brick Program." The bricks were installed in the patio area by the flagpole in the park. A dedication will be held some time in spring 2001.
